A former high school English teacher and journalist, Jean began her personal spiritual quest in 1975, when a clinical death experience dramatically changed her life and perspective, and awakened her psychic and channeling abilities. She then studied meditation and became trained as a professional astrologer, counselor, certified hypnotherapist and rebirther (conscious connected breathing coach).
Jean has trained many professional psychics in her intuitive development classes and has inspired numerous individuals to go for and realize their goals in her motivatinal classes and workshops.
Jean's channeled Seth material was pulished in Body, Mind,Spirit and Spirit Speaks magazines for many years. She is the author of numerous astrological articles and columns. She has been an invited guest on many radio and TV shows, including Good Morning America and the Montel Williams Show. She also travels extensively, bringing the spirit of the places she visits and their healing practices into her work.
During the past few years she ahs been learning first hand about healing, having another near-death experience, which, she says, taught her the incredible power of prayer. During six days of unconsciousness on life support, Jean repeatedly experienced what felt like golden chains of energy pulling her spirit back into her body. Later she learned that numerous friends and healing groups had been praying for her recovery and sending her energy.
After that Jean used the incredible power of Spirit to overcome crippling rheumatoid arthritis and is now back with a healed body and with renewed spirit and energy for her work.
